Why Horses?
Horses, being prey animals, are incredibly intuitive and highly aware of their environment. As non-verbal mammals, they are masters at reading body language. They don't care what we say. Instead, they pay attention to how we show up in the relationship. As herd animals, they are social creatures. Horses don't care about our pasts nor worry about the future. They each have distinct personalities, moods, and attitudes. Horses are sentient beings who live in the moment and feel safe when we are regulated and present (mind, body, spirit) with them.
